Hi Quinn, I admire what you are trying to do, if people start listening to the voices of the young then perhaps the planet can be saved for them and return somethings to when we appreciated and respected our planet.

Quinn here’s another video. The speaker is 9-year old Luke and he’s speaking against his community giving a 45 year contract to Poland Springs and the Nestle Corporation to take the community’s water. All of this water will probably end up in plastic bottles, a disaster for the planet.

What puzzles me, Quinn, is how a poor African country can ban plastic bags etc. Yet we don’t seem to be able to manage it. I remember the pre-plastic times and it all worked fine back then…..
Quinn, this might interest you. There’s a lot of contamination in the Great Lakes from “microplastics” many of which originate in skin care products and toothpastes. Very thought provoking Judith. I just checked my Innoxa facial cleaner and it’s hard to tell if such substances are in it. Given Innoxa’s “do no harm” dictum, I hope not. It’s a very good product and I would be loath to abandon it, but if it has stuff in it that could hurt anyone, I want no part of it.
The vinyl chlorides can be nasty in the environment, but pure polythene (polymerised ethylene, which is a gas) ought to be OK if there are no impurities in it like pthalates.
The problem is that we don’t know, because labelling standards are abysmal.

Hi Quinn. Yes have to agree with you. It would be awesome if there was a large department that sold everything without packaging. I would shop there.

This polka dot back ground reminds me of the little plastic beads that are in toys and bottles.

The north pacific gyre is the world’s largest rubbish dump in the ocean. No animals have come back in one piece. They might have oil on them or they might have rings, plastic bags, bottles and toys stuck to them. And no humans can swim there. They need a boat that won’t capsize or they will poison themselves.
